Accra Hearts of Oak have officially submitted a proposal to Swedru All Blacks for the service of their left-back Abdul Aziz in the upcoming transfer window.
The talented left-back, who emerged as one of the standout defenders in the recently ended Ghana Premier League campaign, is now edging closer to a move to the Phobians.
Sources close to the negotiations indicate that Swedru All Blacks are open to selling the defender, with discussions between both clubs expected to continue in the coming days.
The 27-year-old played a key role for Swedru All Blacks during the 2025/26 season with 27 appearances and a goal as the club secured survival on the final day after a dramatic 2-1 victory over Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Stadium.
His impressive performances throughout the campaign attracted interest from several clubs, but Hearts of Oak have now made the first concrete move by submitting an official proposal for the defender.
The Phobians are expected to strengthen several departments of the squad during the ongoing transfer window after finishing third in the Ghana Premier League last season.
Should the deal go through, Abdul Aziz would become one of Hearts of Oak’s first major signings ahead of the new campaign as the club looks to build a stronger side for next season.
