A Deputy , Dr has said Ghanaians will see further decline of as government continues to work harder to achieve a robust economy.

He made the statement after his acclamation for the ‘s (NPP) parliamentary seat of the on January 25.

Today, we are around 23.2% and we believe it will continue to decline and go down and once, we are seeing some ease in the economy, it is going to reflect in so many positive directions for . So, rest assured, is under control and we are going to see more positive vibes on the economic front” he said.

The Ejisu lawmaker is among five incumbent MPs from the who are going unopposed in the ruling NPP parliamentary .

The parliamentary primaries are slated for Saturday January 27 in constituencies where the NPP has sitting Members of .

Meanwhile, some delegates in constituencies where the parliamentary seats are being contested are cashing in on the situation.
