Police in Kumasi have arrested a 26-year-old man, William Cyril Cohen, for allegedly posing as a medical practitioner at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH).
The suspect was said to be loitering around the hospital, posing as a doctor of medicine and admitting patients and administering drugs.
The police arrested William Cyril Cohen yesterday while attending to a patient who had been admitted to the emergency ward.
DAILY GUIDE gathered that when confronted by a senior medical officer, William Cyril Cohen allegedly became agitated and attempted to flee, but was captured by hospital security.
The police have since commenced investigations into the case and asked authorities at KATH to cooperate with them.
Meanwhile, the suspect was seen in a social media video wearing a ward uniform while being taken by hospital security, who eventually turned him over to police.
