Award-winning Ghanaian musician Ahmed Mujahid Bello, popularly known as Fancy Gadam, has confirmed that his marriage to Jamila Mustapha, also known as Queen Meela, has ended.

The “Total Cheat” hit-maker made the revelation during an interview with G Face the Trender on Thursday, June 4, 2026, where he disclosed that he is no longer married.

“I am not married anymore, I am single,” Fancy Gadam stated, confirming widespread speculation about the status of his relationship.

Despite the separation, the musician emphasized that there is no animosity between him and his former wife. According to him, they continue to maintain a cordial relationship, largely because they share a child together.

“There are no grudges between us. We are very cool with each other because we have a child together,” he explained.

Fancy Gadam and Queen Meela were once regarded as one of the most admired celebrity couples in northern Ghana.

The pair attracted public attention after the musician proposed to the Tamale-based model and businesswoman in 2022 before eventually tying the knot.

The announcement of their divorce has generated significant reactions on social media, with fans expressing surprise and disappointment over the end of the marriage.

While the musician declined to disclose the specific reasons behind the separation, comments he made during the interview have fueled speculation online.

Fancy Gadam noted that his former wife was absent from one of his recent events and did not promote the program, a remark that has led some observers to wonder whether challenges surrounding his career may have contributed to the breakdown of the marriage.

However, neither Fancy Gadam nor Queen Meela has publicly attributed the divorce to any particular incident.
