Finnish club SJK Akatemia has confirmed the signing of promising Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Asante Jnr, marking a significant step in the youngsters budding career.
The 18-year-old has penned a two-year contract with an option for a further year after completing a move from Ghanaian outfit Rumark Football Academy.
Hailing from Otumi in the Kwaebibirim District of Ghanas Eastern Region, Asante Jnr has built a reputation as one of the standout talents in Ghanas school football ecosystem.
He earned widespread attention during his time at TI AMASS, where his technical quality and attacking creativity set him apart at youth level.
His development continued at Rumark Football Academy, where consistent performances further enhanced his profile and attracted interest from scouts tracking emerging prospects across West Africa.
SJK Akatemia, widely regarded for its focus on youth development, is expected to integrate the midfielder into its development pathway as he adjusts to the demands of European football.
The Finnish side has built a reputation for nurturing young talent and offering a structured environment for progression.
The move adds to the growing list of young Ghanaian footballers making early strides into Europe, as clubs increasingly turn their attention to West Africas talent pool.
Asante Jnr will now aim to settle quickly in Finland and compete for playing opportunities as he begins a new chapter in his professional journey.
