The Fanteakwa North Constituency Parliamentary Elections Committee (CPEC), has met with representatives of the five parliamentary aspirants at Begoro to outline the modalities that will govern the NPP primaries in the constituency on Saturday, January 27, 2024.

The aspirants are Kwabena Amankwa Asiamah, Gabriel Kese-Yeboah, Barbara Makara Maccugen, Rev. Dr. David Twum Antwi, and Kwame Appiah Kodua.

It was agreed that delegates are to come with a national ID card for identification purposes, and accreditation cards shall be issued to all delegates, aspirants, observers, and the media.

The aspirants or their representatives shall meet the Committee to cross-check and validate the Albums before voting day.

All mobile phones or cameras shall be taken before delegates cast their ballots, as the usage of these gadgets during voting is prohibited.

The CPEC noted that any vote that shall be shown to the public shall be nullified, and there shall also be no campaign, canvassing for votes, or gathering of Party members for any purpose whatsoever on the voting day.

In an interview with GBC Sunrise FM, one of the contestants, Gabriel Kese-Yeboah, appealed to the delegates to remember his good deeds and his philanthropic activities and vote massively for him.

He urged the delegates to vote for him to help save the decreasing image of the party in the Constituency as he is the right choice among the contestants to lead the party going into the December 7 election.
