Nigerian singer Flavour N’abania has sparked a debate online with his outfit at a recent show in London.
The 39-year-old musician wore a brown net crop top and white bell bottom trousers, which some people found to be too revealing.
Some people on social media criticized Flavour’s outfit, calling it “gayish” and “inappropriate.” Others defended the singer, saying that his outfit was simply part of his signature style.
“This is his signature,” one person wrote. “He’s always been this way. Make una leave our shawarma umunwa.”
“I don’t like conspiracy theories,” another person wrote, “but am I the only one observing how they are stylishly encouraging straight normal men to put on gayish clothes these days?”
Flavour has not responded to the criticism of his outfit.
However, he has been known to wear flamboyant clothing in the past. In 2017, he wore a pink dress to the Headies Awards. The debate over Flavour’s outfit highlights the different ways that people view fashion.
Some people see fashion as a way to express oneself, while others see it as a way to conform to social norms. Ultimately, whether or not someone finds Flavour’s outfit to be appropriate is a matter of personal opinion.
