The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus Glover, has publicly apologized for an incident in which he destroyed the table of a local vendor at the recently inaugurated Flowerpot Interchange in Accra.
“I have received mixed reactions from the public; some have commended me for my quick response, while others have expressed their disappointment and criticism. I sincerely ask for forgiveness. Looking back, perhaps my response — the destruction of the vendor’s table was too extreme. My intention was to send a serious message to deter others from attempting to sell their goods under the interchange,” he explained.
Titus Glover further expressed his willingness to compensate the vendor, should she come forward. “If she shows up, I would be more than willing to provide her with funds to purchase a new table. However, it is essential that she relocates her business to a different area, as selling under the interchange is not permissible,” he emphasized.
