Ghanaian winger Frank Acheampong opened the scoring for Dalian Yingbo FC, but his early effort was not enough to prevent a 3-1 defeat against Yunnan Yukun in the Chinese Super League.Acheampong struck in the 13th minute, giving Dalian an encouraging start at the Yuxi Plateau Sports Center. The Ghanaian forward finished a move created by Romanian midfielder Nicolae Stanciu, putting the visitors in front before the contest became increasingly difficult.Dalians task grew more complicated in the 36th minute when Mao Weijie was shown a second yellow card and sent off. Despite playing with ten men, they held their advantage until the interval and appeared capable of protecting their narrow lead.Yunnan eventually found a way back shortly after the restart. Brazilian forward Cleber equalised in the 72nd minute, before Oscar Taty Maritu completed the hosts comeback with goals in the 81st and seventh minute of added time.Acheampong was substituted in the 74th minute, just after Clebers leveller. His goal was nevertheless a bright moment in a disappointing afternoon for Dalian, who surrendered control after the red card and remain frustrated by a match that had begun so positively.
