The Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) free License D Coaching Course for colts and women’s club coaches is currently taking place in the Brong Ahafo Region.
The course commenced on August 13 and is scheduled to conclude on August 20, 2024. This training initiative is being held at the Nana Kronamansah Park in Nsoatre.
A total of 40 coaches are participating in the course, with 30 representing colts (juvenile) clubs and 10 female coaches from women’s clubs. The program is designed to enhance the coaching skills of participants, ensuring they are well-equipped to train and develop young football talent.
In addition to the core coaching curriculum, the participants will also undergo GFA/FIFA Safeguarding training. This crucial component of the course is aimed at educating coaches on how to create a safe and nurturing environment for young players, free from harm or abuse.
The course is being handled by a team of skilled instructors including Stephen Kyeremeh, Bernince Adutwumwaa and Paul Anhwere.
The GFA remains committed to raising the standard of grassroots football coaching across the country, with the Free License D course being a key part of this broader strategy.
