The Greater Accra Regional Football Association (GARFA) has officially unveiled the draw for the 2023/24 Middle League season. The announcement was made during a significant event held at the Bukom Boxing Arena, Trust Sports Emporium, Accra.
The Middle League draw revealed the teams grouped into two pools for this season’s competition:
Group A: Danbort FC, Immigration FC, Emmanuel City FC
Group B: New Town Youth FC, Kotoku Shining Stars, True Democracy FC
The matches are scheduled to commence on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at the Accra Sports Stadium. This highly anticipated event promises to be a showcase of exceptional grassroots football talent.
The event, which began at 2 PM, included several important activities aimed at recognizing and promoting the achievements of the GARFA.
Elite referees, players, and coaches were honoured for their outstanding performances in the recently concluded Division Two and Women’s Division One leagues.
Graduates of the 9th batch of the GFA/CAF License D Coaching Course received their certificates, highlighting the ongoing commitment to professional development within the league.
At the event, the new season of the GARFA Division Two Middle League was officially launched, and the trophy for the competition was unveiled.
Special guest of honour, GARFA Chairman Mr. Samuel Aboabire, delivered the opening and closing remarks, emphasizing the importance of grassroots football in the region and encouraging all teams to showcase their best performances in the upcoming league matches.
