
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has fixed Thursday, August 20, 2026 for its 32nd Ordinary Congress, setting the stage for a key governance gathering in line with Article 31(2) of its Statutes.The annual statutory meeting will be held at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram, bringing together stakeholders from across Ghana football to assess the state of the game and map its future direction.The congress remains a central decision-making forum where members review competitions, development programmes, governance structures and the broader strategic direction of football in the country.In accordance with the statutes, the GFA said members have been formally notified to ensure adequate preparation, with a detailed convocation to be circulated ahead of the meeting. This will include the agenda, activity reports, financial statements and the auditors report.The Executive Council is expected to engage club representatives, technical officials and other stakeholders during the one-day session, as progress made in recent months is reviewed alongside challenges facing the sport.The Ghana Football Association has urged delegates to prepare thoroughly for what is expected to be a productive congress as it continues its drive to strengthen and develop football across all levels in Ghana.
