The National Ambulance Service of Ghana has debunked claims in a video circulating on social media purporting that an ambulance belonging to the service is for sale in Dubai.
In a press release signed by the Deputy Director, Public Relations Simmons Yussif Kewura, the said ambulance is part of a number of Toyota Hiace being procured by the National Ambulance Service funded by the World Health Organization which is to be shipped to Ghana soon pending manufacturing processes
He added that, the location of the video is the premises of the company and not any car sale garage as alleged by the people in the video.
The National Ambulance has therefore asked Ghanaians to ignore the false information being circulated by the video on social media.
