Members of the Ghana Bloggers Association gathered for a dinner at Oak Plaza yesterday, where they engaged in a constructive dialogue with Joseph Cudjoe, the Minister for Public Enterprises and a key member of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s campaign team for the 2024 elections.
During the meeting Lead by the president of the Association Attractive Mustapha , Andre Mustapha NII Okai Inusah , Cudjoe assured the bloggers, online writers, and influencers that a significant boost to their industry is on the horizon should Bawumia win the upcoming elections.
The minister emphasized the government’s commitment to harnessing digitalization to promote the growth of the blogging and online writing sectors in Ghana.
“We are excited to share our manifesto and plans that prioritize digitalization, which is crucial for modernizing our economy,” Cudjoe stated. “Dr. Bawumia’s vision includes empowering content creators and ensuring that your voices are amplified in the digital space.”
The minister and the campaign team pledged to collaborate closely with the Bloggers, encouraging its members to share their ideas and perspectives on how to enhance the digital landscape. This partnership aims to foster innovation and support for local content creators, ensuring their contributions are recognized and valued.
With just a few days remaining until the December 7th elections, Bawumia’s promises of digitalization resonate strongly with the association’s members, who are keen to see practical implementations that can elevate their work.
