The Ghana Prisons Service has launched a manhunt for 29-year-old Peter Kyeremeh following his escape from lawful custody.
According to a wanted notice issued by the Service, Kyeremeh was serving a five-year prison sentence for unlawful entry and stealing.
He is described as fair-complexioned and slim-built.
The Ghana Prisons Service is appealing to the public to assist in locating and recapturing him.
Members of the public who spot Kyeremeh or have information about his whereabouts have been urged to report immediately to the nearest police station or prison establishment.

The Ghana Prisons Service has cautioned the public against attempting to approach or apprehend Kyeremeh themselves and advised anyone with information to report to the appropriate authorities.
