Ghanaian defender Morrison Agyemang scores winning goal for HNK Sibenik in 2-1 win over Osijek

Ghanaian international, Morrison Agyemang was in action for HNK Sibenik on Sunday evening and scored the winning goal for the side in the 2-1 victory over NK Osijek in the Croatian HNL.

The defender joined HNK Sibenik in the Croatian second-tier league from Cheetah FC in February 2024.

They gained promotion to the top flight in May 2024.

Today, he started in the heart of his team’s defence in their opening game of the new league season in Croatian.

The 19-year-old played well for HNK Sibenik in the exciting contest against NK Osijek that produced three goals.

In the game today, Ivan Bozic scored to open the scoring for HNK Sibenik in the 8th minute.

However, ten minutes into the second half, NK Osijek restored parity through an equalizer from Marko Soldo.

Later in the game, Ghanaian defender Morrison Agyemang scored to seal a 2-1 win for HNK Sibenik at the end of the 90 minutes.

The Ghanaian defender was adjudged the Man of the Match.
