A Ghanaian PhD candidate based in the United Kingdom, Lius Laud Apprey, has revealed that Ghanaian students in the country are in big trouble due to the government’s failure to fulfil its financial obligations to them.
The Ghanaian students who are in the UK on government scholarships have not been receiving the money they need from the government for some time now, placing them in hugely uncomfortable situations.
According to Apprey, this has led some of them to be sacked from their schools, their homes and even some are being asked to leave the country since they are no longer able to fulfil their schooling obligations.
He revealed during an interview with TV3 that some of the struggling students are now selling their sp*rms to survive.
