Sankata Football Club have completed the signing of Ghanaian forward Queenabel Akosua Amankrah ahead of the upcoming Martyr’s Memorial ANFA Women’s League season.
The Kathmandu-based side confirmed the addition as part of efforts to strengthen their squad for the new campaign in Nepal’s top-tier women’s competition.
Sankata FC, one of the country’s most historic clubs, have built a reputation for recruiting talented players from Ghana to bolster their women’s team, and Amankrah becomes the latest to join that pipeline.
The forward is expected to add pace and attacking quality as the club targets a strong showing in the league.
Her move highlights the growing presence of Ghanaian players in Asian women’s football, with Sankata continuing to rely on West African talent to remain competitive domestically.
