Veteran broadcaster and tourism expert, Gideon Aryeequaye, has been appointed as the Acting Executive Secretary of the Creative Arts Agency.
His appointment is a strategic move to drive the implementation of the government’s ambitious Black Star Experience, an initiative aimed at revitalising Ghana’s cultural, arts, and tourism sectors.
The announcement was made in a statement, emphasising Aryeequaye’s crucial role in executing this agenda.

As the Deputy CEO of the Ghana Tourism Development Company (GTDC), he was a key figure in promoting and developing tourism initiatives across Ghana.
His tenure at the GTDC saw a transformation in the promotion of Ghana’s tourism sector, leading to an increase in domestic and international interest in Ghana as a prime travel destination.
Aryeequaye has also been actively involved in media and communications, leveraging his extensive knowledge of public relations and marketing to boost the visibility of Ghana’s cultural heritage and tourism assets.
His leadership in various capacities has demonstrated his commitment to positioning Ghana as a leading hub for arts, culture, and entertainment in Africa.
