The Ghana Investment Promotion Centre, GIPC, has embarked on a Regional Sensitization Tour in the Eastern Region, under the theme, “Grow in Ghana, Grow with Ghana”, which is aimed to promote investment opportunities and provide on-the-spot assistance to businesses in the region.
The objective of the tour was to educate stakeholders about GIPC’s role in promoting investment in Ghana, highlight the untapped economic potential and opportunities in the region and encourage MMDAs and traditional authorities to make land available for investment purposes.
It was also to gather first-hand information from companies in the region about challenges they face and provide on-the-spot assistance for registration as well as facilitate the development and packaging of new investment projects for promotion.
Highlight of the sensitization tour was a high-level Business Forum held in Koforidua which brought together potential investors, government officials, and businesses from across the region to explore investment opportunities and partnerships as well as sensitize the business community about the GIPC’s activities and services.
The Deputy Director of Investment Services at the GIPC, Kwame Kesse Agyapong advised Ghanaians to put their business in a bankable way.The ongoing GIPC Regional Sensitisation Tour is a key initiative to promote investment and economic growth in all sixteen regions across the country.
