One of Ghana’s most celebrated gospel musicians Cindy Thomson silenced her critics with a magical stellar performance at the ‘Glorified’ concert on Saturday night.
The concert, which was organised by gospel music great Perez Musik, featured star-studded musicians such as Pastor Joe Beechem, Ohemaa Mercy, and Gifty Osei. But it was Thompson’s performance that stole the show.
The veteran singer, who had come under tumultuous attack for not releasing an album or single in many years, took the stage and delivered a puissant and moving performance of her classic hits, such as “Awanwa Do” and ‘Awurade Kasa”
Her voice was as strong and clear as ever, and her passion for the music was evident.
The audience was enraptured by her performance, and she received a standing ovation at the end.
