The Government has released GHC50 million to the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) to support the smooth conduct of this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
The Ministry of Education announced the disbursement, emphasizing the government’s commitment to meeting its financial responsibilities to the examination body. The funding is expected to ensure that both examinations proceed without any logistical challenges or disruptions.
