GPL: Hearts, Kotoko fail to win as Gold Stars move up league standings

Medeama SC secured a convincing 4-0 victory over Dreams FC at the Tarkwa TNA Stadium, opening Matchweek 27 of the Ghana Premier League on Friday, April 11, 2025. Kingsley Braye was the star of the show, scoring a hat-trick in the 38th, 45+2nd, and 74th minutes. Yussif added to the scoreline with a goal in the 88th minute, sealing the win for Medeama SC.

In other matches, Accra Lions came from a goal down to beat Basake Holy Stars on Saturday, April 12, 2025, boosting their survival chances in the Ghana Premier League. Second-half strikes from Musa Hamzata and Lucky Nwafor canceled out an early goal by Prince Tweneboah, as Lions made a winning return to the Accra Sports Stadium.
