Ghana striker Albert Amoah has joined Saudi Arabian club Hajer from Libyas Al-Ahly, switching to the Saudi First Division League ahead of the 2026-27 season.
The 24-year-old centre-forward completed the move on 14 August after a spell with Al-Ahly, who he joined from Asante Kotoko in October 2025. Amoah later returned to Asante Kotoko on loan in January 2026, before going back to Al-Ahly at the end of June.
Amoahs move to Hajer marks the latest stage of a career that has included football in Ghana, Libya and now Saudi Arabia. He joined Asante Kotoko from Great Olympics in July 2024, before moving abroad to Al-Ahly the following year.
The Ghanaian has recorded 22 goals in 56 appearances in the Premier League, with a further two goals in four CAF Confederation Cup matches. He also made five appearances in the Libyan Premier League during his time with Al-Ahly.
Amoahs most recent market valuation was 100,000, while his highest recorded value was 125,000. His arrival gives Hajer a forward with experience across domestic and continental competition, as well as a recent loan spell at one of Ghanas established clubs.
He joins Hajer at the age of 24 and remains listed as a centre-forward, the position in which he has produced the bulk of his senior career appearances and goals.
The Saudi clubs move follows a period in which Amoah changed clubs twice during the 2025-26 campaign. He first moved from Asante Kotoko to Al-Ahly, spent part of the season back in Ghana on loan, and then returned to the Libyan side before completing his switch to Hajer.
Amoahs transfer to Hajer was completed and registered on 14 August 2026.
