Interim Asante Kotoko SC head coach Hamza Obeng has openly described the clubs 2025/26 Ghana Premier League campaign as disappointing after their final day defeat to Swedru All Blacks. The Porcupine Warriors concluded their season with a 2-1 loss at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.Speaking after the match, Obeng admitted the result was difficult to accept, especially with the team playing in front of their home supporters. What I will say is that the result is very bad. I think at least we should have gotten the result to make our fans happy. But all the same, its part of the game, so we move from there and concentrate on the next season, Obeng said. The interim coach also reflected on Kotokos overall campaign and did not hide his disappointment with the teams performances throughout the season. It was a poor season from the team, but its part of the game. It happens like this, but we need to look at it and make good preparations towards the next season, he added. After finishing eighth in the Ghana Premier League standings, Kotoko will now shift attention toward rebuilding and improving before the next football season comes around.
