Hearts of Oak coach Slavko Matic was seen at the Greater Accra Regional Headquarters of the Ghana Police Service on Friday morning. This was after he reportedly had an encounter with angry fans during a training session in Pobiman.
The supporters are said to be upset with the team’s recent form, as they currently sit in sixth place in the Ghana Premier League standings.
Additionally, the team was knocked out of the FA Cup after losing to Dreams FC in the round of 32. A recent defeat to Great Olympics has further compounded the team’s troubles, leading some fans to call for Matic’s dismissal through various protest channels.
