Former Asante Kotoko defender Henry Ansu is set for a trial spell with Zimbabwean top-flight side Scottland FC as he looks to secure his next club following his departure from the Ghanaian giants.

The defender, who is currently a free agent, has been invited to undergo an assessment period with the ambitious Zimbabwean outfit. Should he impress the club’s technical team during the trials, Ansu is expected to sign a contract that would see him earn a monthly salary of $3,000, along with a signing-on fee of $10,000.

The opportunity presents a significant step in the defender’s career as he seeks a fresh challenge outside Ghana. Scottland FC have been active in strengthening their squad and view Ansu as a potential addition to bolster their defensive options.

Further details regarding the duration of the trial and a possible contract agreement are expected to emerge in the coming days.
