Hohoe United dominated True Democracy 4-1 at Hohoe Stadium on Sunday, claiming top spot in Zone Three of the Access Bank Division One League. William Oduro opened the scoring in the 18th minute, followed by two crucial goals from Faruk Mohammed in the 27th and 30th minutes, respectively, giving Hohoe United a 3-0 halftime lead. After the break, Kenneth Oduro scored a consolation goal for the visitors in the 75th minute, before Faruk Mohammed sealed his hat-trick in the 90th minute.
Rain Masters maintained their unbeaten streak with a convincing 3-0 win over Home Stars FC, thanks to Dickson Afoakwa’s brace. Afoakwa scored the opener in the 20th minute, followed by Rashid Bunju’s strike in the 45th minute. Afoakwa sealed the victory with his second goal in the 50th minute, earning him the Player of the Match award.
