Hollywood actors Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good announced their engagement on Sunday at the 2024 Ebony Power 100 List event, where they first met in a unisex bathroom.
The 35-year-old Majors expressed his admiration for the 43-year-old Good, saying, “She is the most perfect, beautiful, divine, and powerful being that I’ve ever met… I feel great.”
Good, who divorced DeVon Franklin in 2021, has stood by Majors throughout his recent legal challenges, including a conviction related to a domestic dispute.
“The fact that she said I’m gonna run with you, I’m with it. I feel great,” he added.
Earlier this year, the 35-year-old actor was ordered to complete a 52-week mandatory in-person domestic violence prevention program and pay a $250 surcharge after being convicted of assault and harassment in connection with a domestic dispute involving his former girlfriend.
Majors’ film, Magazine Dreams, was initially delayed due to allegations but is now set for early 2025 release.
Jonathan Majors is known for his roles in Creed III, Ant-Man, and The Harder They Fall.
Meagan Good stars in Harlem and co-authored the relationship book The Wait with her ex-husband DeVon Franklin.
