Dancehall musician Shatta Wale has declared that he is a heavenly servant on a mission to use music to help the kids.
On Saturday, December 2, 2023, at the Guinness Accravaganza, Shatta Wale pledged to make a difference in the lives of young people by trying to spare them the struggles he had to endure growing up.
He highlighted how his music is a vehicle for sharing God’s word and shared intimate accounts of his one-on-one encounters with the Almighty.
“We are blessed by God, and I just want people to follow me for more reasons than just my music.” I am merely God’s servant, spreading the gospel via my music. I occasionally sit down and have private conversations with God. I simply want to do everything within my power to inform people that he is The King of Kings.”
Shatta Wale urged the kids to have faith in themselves, refuted myths about mystical practices, and thanked people who had faith in him.

“I was never believed in by anyone, but now that you, you and you, do, I am considered to be Juju ja. If you go malam, you will lose your money. If you go wan go malam, phone me and I will offer you stuff, you will succeed in what you do. God is watching you, so keep an eye on him.” Shatta Wale stated.
At the launch of his new real estate company, Feelbro houses, Shatta Wale gave five fans GHC 5000 as a concrete token of his support. He expressed the need for harmony in Ghana’s music industry and bemoaned the absence of artist cooperation to support their fans as a group.
“I wish Ghana music had the unity so we could support you, the fans, because you left all you were doing, paid money to come and watch us, and for that, we are grateful,” he said.
Shatta Wale made a suggestion that he would host a music workshop in the upcoming year. The workshop seeks to empower young people with talent in both music and identity formation.
