“Hi fans, I am here and I am happy to have my first training session with my teammates, it went well and I can’t wait to have my debut” he said after training.
The 21-year-old joined F.C Zurich after his assignment with the Black Galaxies in Algeria at the just ended African Nations Championship (CHAN).
Afriyie Barnieh was part of the 26 players selected for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Coincidentally, he stole the headlines on his Black Stars debut in a pre-tournament friendly against Switzerland, the country in which he will now be playing club football.
