Ghanaian rapper AY Poyoo has made an astonishing revelation that he has only made $100 from music since entering the scene three years ago.
AY Poyoo, whose real name is Emmanuel Yeboah is known for incorporating humour into his music and videos, often using comedic antics to engage his audience.
He rose to prominence in 2020 with the release of his song “GOAT.” In the video, you’ll see him on chains, screaming ‘I’m a Goat’ on an animal farm. The video has so far garnered more than 200,000 views on YouTube.
His other popular songs include “Swimming Pool” and “Richest Rapper in Africa.”
Despite his online success, AY Poyoo claims that financial gain has been limited. In a video which has so far gone viral, the GOAT rapper shared that his music career has only yielded $100 from a single performance.
