Award-winning gospel musician Piesie Esther has revealed that she is now selling drinks and rice in addition to her music career.

The “Wa Ye Me Yie” hitmaker told Kingdom FM in an interview that she sells non-alcoholic beverages and rice to support her husband and keep the family going.

Piesie Esther said that she would like to expand her business, which is called Ernester Wholesale. She dreams of having a large warehouse filled with goods so that she can make more money.

“I would like to expand my rice business. I want to have a big warehouse for the business. If God blesses me, I will expand it,” she told Fiifi Pratt on the show “Afro Joint.”

Piesie Esther’s decision to diversify her business comes just a week after actor and comedian Mr. Beautiful revealed that he is now selling sugarcane and coconut to survive the hardships in Ghana.

“The collapse of the movie industry has brought extreme hardships on some of us who are actively engaged in such a venture,” he said. “In order to survive the hardships in Ghana due to the collapse of the movie industry, I now sell sugarcane and coconut.”

Mr. Beautiful said that he sells sugarcane and coconut that is grown in his hometown in the Central Region of Ghana. He hopes that his new business will help him to provide for his family and make a living.
