Afropop artist, Mr Eazi wants Shatta Wale to perform at the Grammys.
Mr Eazi recommended Shatta Wale to the World Music Awards in a tweet after the WMA’s asked their followers for artist’s they want to see.
Exactly a year ago, Shatta Wale was at the centre of a much publicized feud with top Nigerian music superstar Burna Boy.
Burna Boy had angrily replied to Shatta Wale who verbally attacked Nigerians during his Freedom Concert held at the Accra Sports Stadium on December 25, 2022.

ABOUT MR. EAZI
Oluwatosin Ajibade aka Mr Eazi, is a Nigerian-born, Ghana-based singer. The 31-year-old is a pioneer of Banku music, a fusion of sound he describes as a mixture of Ghanaian highlife and Nigerian chord progressions and patterns.
Mr Eazi relocated to Kumasi, Ghana in 2008 and enrolled at KNUST, where he began booking artists to perform at college parties. He showed interest in music after recording a guest verse on “My Life”, a song that gained traction and became a popular record at KNUST. Mr Eazi released his debut mixtape About to Blow in 2013.
He gained an international audience following the release of the Efya-assisted single “Skin Tight”. His second mixtape, titled Life Is Eazi, Vol. 1 – Accra To Lagos, was released in 2017.
Mr Eazi is engaged to Temi Otedola, daughter of Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola and sister to DJ Cuppy.
