Ghanaian international Brandon Thomas-Asante says he wants to be among the best-performing players at the end of the season as he targets more goals and assists.

The forward was in action for Coventry City in their league game against Tottenham Hotspur on Monday night, registering an assist in the 3-1 defeat.

The fixture was his fourth start of the season in the Premier League, taking his appearance tally in the league to seven games with two goal contributions.

Asked about his target for the campaign, the Ghanaian said he’s looking to improve his game and add more goals to it.

“I want to be the best. So that starts with, you know, showing, you know, getting goals, getting assists, and being effective,” he said after the defeat.

“And also on the individual, like on a performance level, making sure physically I’m imposing myself on games, technically, which I want to make sure that I can show that quality as well.

“But, you know, it’s early days, and we’re going to keep on building.”

Coventry, following their promotion to the Premier League, have two wins from seven games and currently sit 17th on the league table, one point above the relegation zone.
