Ghanaian YouTuber, Wode Maya, has responded to people who think he has a poor fashion sense despite his high status.
The YouTuber’s simplicity in fashion has been questioned by many, who find it hard to comprehend why a person like him will choose to appear as a poor man.
However, speaking on Accra-based TV3, the famed content creator said dressing does not define his status.
Mr. Maya posited that he would rather use his medium to generate wealth to the advantage of the suffering masses than to spend it on material things.
He revealed that he has so many people he sponsors in school including tertiary students, hence he will create more riches to impact lives.
“I have over 100 people in Kumasi that are getting free education because of me. I have university students that I pay their fees. I paid a lot of school fees in January.
“I do things that really matter. It’s not about physical appearance. People are telling me that I’m wearing slippers. Even when I was in the village, I never had slippers,” he said.
The touring enthusiast stressed, “I don’t want to look rich. I want to create wealth. I want to impact people’s lives. You can talk as much as you want, but I’m just doing my thing. I’m not seeing anyone.”
