Ghana’s young winger Ibrahim Osman says he spoke to compatriot Tariq Lamptey before sealing his move to the Premier League.
Osman and Lamptey were together in the Black Stars camp for the World Cup qualifiers against the Central African Republic and Mali.
The winger admits he has had quite a number of conversations with Lamptey about the club and the city.
“It was cool with him in the Black Stars camp although we didn’t speak a lot but with his help, he has been telling me about the city and the club,” Osman said to TV3.
Osman’s Right to Dream Academy mate, Simon Adingra was also one of the standout performers at the AFCON earlier this year. He was also one of Brighton’s breakout players in last season’s Premier League.
It was only a few years ago when the two boys were walking the streets of the academy as young footballers with big dreams and now they will be playing together at the same club.
“I have been speaking to Simon for quite some time also about the club and he tells me a lot. I can’t wait to connect with them at the club and get going,” Osman said.
