Up to 16 Ghanaian players were in action for their clubs during the weekend with defender Joseph Aidoo guiding Celta de Vigo to a crucial 3-0 win while Baba Iddrisu also continued to impress.

Defender Joseph Aidoo was at the heart of defence for Celta de Vigo when they posted a 3-0 win over Rayo Vallecano. Central defender Abdul Mumin warmed the bench for the losers.
Baba Iddrisu Mohammed played 90 minutes for Real Mallorca who drew 1-1 with Real Sociedad.
Inaki Williams played 90 minutes for Athletic Club when Barcelona defeated them 1-0 at the Estadio San Mamés.
Ghanaian-born American international Yunush Musah lasted 82 minutes for Valencia who beat Osasuna 1-0.
Malaga held Las Palmas to a 2-2 drawn game and defender Lumor Agbenyenu missed out of the Malaga squad for the game.
Still, in the second-tier league, Sabit Abdulai warmed the bench for Ponferradina who held Granada to a 2-2 drawn game.
Elsewhere, Emmanuel Addai lasted the entire period of the game for Alcorcon when they slipped to a 1-0 home loss to Ferrol.
Isaac Obeng wasn’t in the SD Logrones squad when they drew 1-1 against Athletic Club II. Emmanuel Attipoe was also out of the Logrones squad for the game.
Isaac Nana Asare played the full 90 minutes for Cornella in their 1-1 drawn game against Eldense.
Stephen Buer was out of the Fuenlabrada squad when they won 2-0 at Linares.
Cueta held Cordoba to a 1-1 drawn game and Ransford Selasi was in action for 90 minutes for Cueta.
Success Loukou and Bashiru Mohammed both came off the bench to play for CF Talavera who held Merida to a 1-1 drawn game.
Meanwhile, in the Primera RFEF – Group 1, central defender Felix Ofoli Quaye warmed the bench for Rayo Majadahonda in their 1-1 drawn game with Leonesa.
