British actor Idris Elba has marked seven years of marriage to his wife, Sabrina Elba, with a public tribute shared on social media.
The couple celebrated their wedding anniversary over the weekend, with Elba posting a video montage of moments from their relationship.
In the post, he described their marriage as “magical” and expressed his affection for his wife, alongside clips and images from their time together, including personal photos and highlights from their joint projects such as their skincare brand. The couple, who married in 2019, have frequently appeared together at public events and in business ventures.
They first met in 2017 while Elba was filming in Canada and became engaged the following year during a screening of his film Yardie in London.

Speaking previously about the proposal, he said it was spontaneous and took place in front of friends and colleagues. Elba, who had been married twice before, later said meeting Sabrina changed his perspective on marriage, describing himself as “the happiest” he had been in a long time.
