Ex-Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan has explained his position regarding politics in Ghana.
He says he is not affiliated with any political party in the country.
Asamoah Gyan, in a statement issued via social media, indicated that he does whatever he does to ensure the youth of Ghana are empowered and provided with the environment to thrive.
He has vowed to provide equal opportunities for all Ghanaian youth, especially those who are talented in sports, to excel.
Asamoah Gyan emphasized that he will use his foundation, among other opportunities available to him to ensure that the Ghanaian youth is empowered.
The former Black Star player joined the Dr Mahamudu Bawumia campaign team to develop policies that will help the youth thrive in sports.
