Aduana FC’s head coach, Yaw Acheampong, remains confident that his team will overcome key player injuries ahead of their clash with Accra Hearts of Oak.
The much-anticipated encounter is scheduled for Friday, May 17 at the Accra Sports Stadium in match week 30 of the ongoing 2023-2024 Ghana Premier League season.
The team’s recent performance saw them secure a goalless draw against Accra Lions at the Accra Stadium on Monday, May 4.
This result extends Aduana’s winless streak to three league games, following a 2-1 loss to Karela United and a 1-0 defeat against Bibiani Gold Stars.
Acheampong expressed satisfaction with his team’s tactical performance, emphasizing the importance of adaptability and teamwork.
“It was a very difficult game but tactically I’m very happy with the performance today.
“Sometimes you play with what you have…as you can see today, it’s not about position, it’s about playing a role.
“Our next game is against Hearts here and I’m happy with the play today…we will have much time to work on the injured players and see if they can come and join us against Hearts.”
