Ipswich Town manager Gary ONeil has described Ghana winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku as a great addition to the club despite his sending-off in Saturdays 1-0 Premier League defeat to Everton.Issahaku was shown a second yellow card in the 67th minute after being booked earlier in the match, leaving Ipswich with 10 men for the closing stages. However, ONeil was quick to defend the 22-year-old, insisting that the Ghanaian remains an important addition to his squad despite the setback.Ive spoken to him; hes a young lad, you can see he is anticipating some contact. Ive seen them given and Ive seen them not given, ONeil said to Premier League Productions. The Ipswich boss acknowledged the importance of keeping 11 players on the pitch but stressed that Issahaku has already made a positive impression since joining the club.He understands the importance of him being on the pitch and us keeping 11 on the pitch, but he has been a great addition, ONeil added.Issahaku has made five appearances for Ipswich since joining the club and has contributed one assist. The winger is now expected to link up with the Black Stars for Ghanas upcoming AFCON qualifiers against Cte dIvoire and The Gambia, as well as the October friendly against Morocco.
