As the PNC readies itself for the 2024 elections, Awudu Ishaq has declared his intention to contest for the position of General Secretary of the party.
This declaration was made following a well-designed poster circulating on social media with his image and the insignia of the party as well as the inscription of General Secretary.
Though he is yet to confirm officially, it is apparent that the circulation of the poster has his approval and barring any last-minute change of mind, his name shall be on the ballot when the PNC goes to the polls this year to elect its national officers.
It is never in doubt that Mr Awudu Ishaq has what it takes to revolutionarise the office of General Secretary if given the nof considering his considerable experience, competence and commitment to the PNC.
As a former Deputy Constituency Secretary, Regional Secretary, National Youth Organiser and currently the National Communications Secretary of the Party, his administrative prowess and eloquent communications skills have impacted the party a great deal.
Though no one else has declared an interest in the position so far, it is clear that whoever throws his or her hat into the ring would surely have a lot to do as Mr Awudu Ishaq has an enormous appeal across the country within the PNC cycles.
