Ghana’s Minister for Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, has described the Black Stars’ 1-1 draw with Wales in Cardiff as a fair result ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Speaking after the international friendly, Adams expressed satisfaction with the team’s performance, noting that the match provided a valuable test as Ghana continues preparations for the global tournament.

The Black Stars showed resilience against the Welsh side, earning a draw in a competitive encounter that offered head coach Carlos Queiroz another opportunity to assess his squad.

Ghana will now shift focus to the World Cup as preparations enter their final stages. They have reportedly scheduled a final trial match against the Raggae Boyz of Jamaica in the coming days.
