Gospel musician Diana Asamoah has shared her sorrow over the passing of highlife legend Daddy Lumba, revealing that they were on the verge of a musical collaboration before his untimely demise.

Speaking to the Ghana Weekend after signing the book of condolence at the late singer’s residence, Asamoah disclosed, “We were about to record a song together. It’s heartbreaking that this will no longer happen.”

The gospel star visited the family to offer her condolences and described Daddy Lumba as a timeless icon whose music impacted generations.

She praised his artistry and influence, adding that their planned collaboration was a dream she had looked forward to fulfilling.
