Croatia forward Ivan Perišić has described Ghana as a well-organised team ahead of the two sides’ crucial Group L encounter at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The Blazers head into the match needing a positive result after opening their campaign with a defeat to England before bouncing back with a victory over Panama.

Speaking before the game, the experienced winger revealed that Croatia’s coaching staff have closely studied Ghana’s performances against Panama and England.

“We watched their two matches as much as we could, and we have one more analysis. They are a good, compact team that played in a low block in these two matches,” Perišić said.

The veteran forward believes Ghana could adopt a different approach in the decisive fixture and stressed that Croatia must be prepared for any tactical changes.

“They have qualified from the group, so they might change something. We must be ready for anything. We have to prepare and be much better than in the first two matches.”

Ghana enter the match unbeaten after a 1-0 victory over Panama and a goalless draw with England, while Croatia know only a strong performance will keep their hopes of reaching the knockout stage alive
