Ghanaian dancehall superstar Shatta Wale has revealed that wedding bells may soon ring for him and his girlfriend, Maali, as he’s already performed traditional marriage rites with her family.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with George Quaye on JoyPrime on Wednesday October 15, he disclosed that he has taken drinks to Maali’s family, signifying his serious intentions toward her.
“I’m married already. It’s just that I met her parents, you know… The father has really accepted me into the family. So, yeah, I took drinks,” Shatta Wale said proudly.
When asked whether fans should expect a wedding soon, the musician confirmed that a church wedding is in the plans, but he’s currently saving up to make it a truly grand celebration.
“Yeah, a church wedding. I’m saving for that. You have to save for a grand wedding,” he said with a smile.
Known for his larger-than-life personality and love for glamour, Shatta hinted that his dream wedding will be nothing short of spectacular — one that would reflect his status as one of Ghana’s most celebrated entertainers.
