UTV presenter Akwasi Boadi Akrobeto has paid tribute to the impeccable character of missing Ghanaian footballer Christian Atsu, revealing he once gifted him a hefty sum of money out of appreciation for his work.
Akrobeto revealed on the latest episode of his show ‘The Real News’ that Christian Atsu once gave Kwaku Manu the sum of €800 to be given to him!
This is despite the fact that he’s never met Atsu anywhere and doesn’t know him from Adam!

According to Akrobeto, Atsu told Kwaku Manu that he enjoys his comedy and hence wanted to show him some appreciation.
Akrobeto said that shows the kind of genuine human being the former Black Stars winger was.
The comic actor was reacting to the distressing news of Atsu’s disappearance.
The Ghanaian footballer was part of people gone missing since a massive earthquake struck Turkey a week ago.
Despite rescue efforts, Atsu has still not been found.
