Belgian international of Ghanaian descent Jérémy Doku is reportedly close to signing a new long-term contract with Manchester City, with negotiations between the two parties said to be at an advanced stage.
The Premier League champions are keen to secure the future of the winger until the summer of 2031, underlining their confidence in his development and long-term importance to the club. The proposed deal is expected to include a significant salary increase, reflecting Doku’s growing influence within Pep Guardiola’s squad.
Since arriving at the Etihad Stadium, the 24-year-old has established himself as one of City’s most dangerous attacking threats, earning praise for his pace, dribbling ability and creativity in the final third.
