Crystal Palace striker Jordan Ayew has expressed his delight with the club’s recent victories but has also stressed the importance of remaining focused and picking up more points to ensure their survival in the Premier League.
Ayew has been instrumental in Palace’s recent success, having played a crucial role in the victories against Leicester City and Leeds United. The Ghanaian international assisted the winning goal in the game against Leicester and scored twice in the thumping win over Leeds.
Reflecting on the recent victories, Ayew told Crystal Palace TV, “I really enjoyed it. It’s not often it happens, and when it happens you have to embrace it and enjoy it. I’m pleased with our performance.

“We stuck to our game plan. It wasn’t easy at the beginning, but this is the Premier League: you’re playing against good sides and sometimes it’s going to be difficult. You just need to get through it and when you have your moments, you punish them.”
Ayew also acknowledged the need for the team to remain focused and continue to pick up points in the remaining games of the season. “It was a really good day, and we’re all happy, but we know that there are still eight games to go and we need to pick up more points,” he said.
Palace are six points clear of the relegation zone following the back-to-back wins.
